An appointment system operates at the surgery to minimise patient waiting times.

Appointments may be made personally at reception or by telephone on 01226 244946 or 282535.

Please make every effort to attend promptly for appointments in order to avoid loss of valuable consultation time.

Although we do try to make appointments with the doctor of your choice, at times it may be quicker to see the first available doctor.

We operate online system to allow patients to book their own appointments and order their repeat medication.

To be able to access the service you will need to explain to the receptionist that you want to book online appointments for which a PIN number will be provided along with clear instructions on how to register.

Book on Day

If you feel your condition requires the services of a doctor or nurse you can either call in person or telephone the surgery at 8:00 am where a variety of options will be open to you.

Urgent Care

Be aware that you may be asked a few questions, this is to help our reception staff offer you the correct type of appointment. You may be offered a return telephone call by a doctor who can assess your situation or offer advice.

Urgent care conditions include:

  • Accidents
  • Serious burns or scalds
  • Severe pain not responding to pain killers
  • Concern regarding children and the very elderly
  • Insulin dependent diabetes

This list is not exhaustive.

If appropriate, you may be offered a telephone consultation where a doctor will return your call after surgery. Our practice nurse is also available for telephone advice on a daily basis.
